A good one about the stupidity of government

If you didn't catch this article in the KCStar this morning, you have to read this article. It talks about how the KC Health dept. food code requires any vendors that sell morel mushrooms to have them each examined (and passed presumably) by an approved mushroom identification expert. The catch? Not only is there apparently no such thing, but also no definition of what that is, or how to become an approved inspector. So for the mean time it looks like morel mushrooms will be harder to find, at least at stores and licensed vendors that have to follow these rules or risk being shut down.
